“Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed” – Michael Pritchard

Fear has been extremely useful to us.

It evolved to keep us alive.

People without enough fear are usually dead or in jail.

But it’s not a fun place to live.

As the great poet Hafiz so eloquently wrote:

“Fear is the cheapest room in the house. I would like to see you in better conditions”.

Fear is a very expensive fuel on which to run your life.

But it is used to manipulate us everywhere we turn:

It’s used to get us to buy things.

It’s used to get us to click on links.

It’s used to get us to hate people.

It’s used to keep us stuck.

Fear drives us to have a negative view of other people, of the world and of ourselves.

If you have money fears – and, let’s face it – most of us do, then fear will keep you stuck. Because it’s really hard to think well when you’re scared.

“What if’s” are usually negative.

Positivity is off-line.

But when you bring your fears out of the darkroom of your mind, they stop developing.

Change becomes possible.

Positive outcomes become available.

And the belief that you can create them returns.

It was always there – and you can reclaim it whenever you want.
